The bottom interface stacks the chute mount, a spacer ring, the Lazy Susan bearing, and the bottom static part. Here it is exploded into its components:

Once assembled, it mounts into the machine frame:

Step 1 Mount the Lazy Susan to the chute mount

Set the spacer on the chute mount and the Lazy Susan on top. You need to remove the Lazy Susan's rubber tabs first (see Preparing Lazy Susan). Line up a screw hole with a heat insert in the chute mount and drive the screw. Repeat around the disc.

The Lazy Susan is two discs, inner and outer, that spin independently. One disc's screws go in from above, the other's from below. The chute mount and the bottom static part both have access holes lined up with the bearing, so you can reach both sides to drive the screws.

The M4 × 12 mm countersunk screws must be very tight. Most electric screwdrivers won't tighten them enough. They're a hassle to reach if they come loose, and machine vibration can work them loose.

Step 2 Mount the Lazy Susan to the bottom static part

The Lazy Susan's other disc screws down into the bottom static part. You reach those screws through a pass-through hole in the chute mount.

Set the chute mount + Lazy Susan assembly onto the bottom static part and line up the pass-through hole with the marked heat insert (red square).

Drive the first screw through the pass-through hole.

Then rotate the chute with the Lazy Susan, turning it the way it turns in normal operation, not by forcing the whole assembly, to bring the pass-through hole to the next insert. Repeat for all four screws.
