The documentation that exists is incomplete. Any given page may be accurate, inaccurate, present only as an example, or badly out of date. We do not yet recommend that anyone attempt to build Sorter.

Distribution — Chute

Chute

The rotating chute that aims parts at the correct bin.

  1. Chute core — build one per layer.
  2. Door module — the per-layer door mechanism that releases parts into a bin. Made up of the servo, funnel, PCB, and layer connectors below.
  3. MG995 servo — the servo that drives the door.
  4. Funnel — the funnel that guides parts through the door.
  5. PCB — the board that drives the servo.
  6. Layer connectors — the connectors that chain layers together.
